As a person walking the Healer’s Path, I have constantly received the call to do my own healing and growth work. This journey I have traveled has taken me to various places around the world, and has brought me into contact with those who have become dear teachers and mentors to me (often when I didn’t even know it at the time!). In 2003, I walked the sacred pilgrim’s path in Spain, known as ‘El Camino De Santiago.’ This walk brought me to some deep, profound truths about the ways I used to live my life. This life changing experience also helped herald in my initiation onto the healer’s path.
Since that time, I have studied with teachers in England and across the United States. I have learned from a number of Reiki Masters with varying philosophies, I have worked with those who are versed in ritual and the native ways, and I have learned from people with deep understanding of the power of EFT. In 2004, I studied the art of massage and in that same year, I delved deep into the practice of Reiki, by receiving my Reiki Master attunement by William Lee Rand, founder of the International Center for Reiki Training.
It was in 2006, when I went on a personal spirit quest on the Big Island of Hawaii, and for 7 weeks learned to experience the world and see myself in a whole new light. This helped me realize that my commitment to my clients, and of course to myself, is to continue to do my own work towards growth and exploration. To remember that I can always learn, can always better myself. And to remind myself that I am not a stagnant person, but an ever changing, ever evolving human being, who can both move like the river, while trying to understand the perspective and wisdom of the ancient trees.
In 2008, I shifted my practice to be predominately using the healing modality of EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques). In 2014, I was invited as one of the Keynote Speakers for the 4th Annual NW Tappers Gathering
I offer sessions over the phone, on Skype and in person.
In addition to being a healing arts practitioner, I am also a performing Storyteller. More information about this may be found at: brianrohr.com
